SEATTLE SUPERCROSS PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early for Supercross at Qwest Field on Saturday, April 28. The Seattle Mariners will host the Kansas City Royals in a baseball game at Safeco Field at 6:00 pm the same evening. Safeco Field is directly across the street from Qwest Field and both facilities share the parking in the surrounding area.
It is expected that inbound Mariners’ traffic will peak between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Supercross ticketholders and attendees should plan to arrive to Qwest Field prior to 4:00 pm to avoid the heaviest traffic congestion.
Bus and transit options are provided below and will be the fastest and most efficient way to get to and from Qwest Field on the day of the event.
Driving
Fans arriving for Supercross at Qwest Field will find the most available and accessible parking in the lots to the north of King Street toward and in the downtown area. While parking will be available to the south, it is strongly suggested that Supercross attendees park to the north of Qwest Field to avoid Seattle Mariners traffic.
Bus and transit
Metro and Sound Transit will both be operating on a standard Saturday schedule providing regular transportation to and from the downtown and Qwest Field areas.
Please visit http://transit.metrokc.gov/ and http://www.soundtransit.org/x4313.xml for transit options from your location to Qwest Field.
From I-5 North and South, and the Alaskan Way Viaduct, there are exits near Qwest Field and Exhibition Center. From I-5 there are exits at James Street, 4th Avenue, and Airport Way that will place visitors close to the stadium.
From I-90, follow the signs to Fourth Avenue South. For Union Station Parking Garage, turn left onto 4th Ave and look for Union Station on your right, approximately one block later. For the Stadium North Lot turn left onto 4th Ave, then left on Jackson, and left on 2nd Ave to the North Lot entry. For the Qwest Field Exhibition Center Parking Garage, turn right onto 4th Ave and right onto South Royal Brougham Way. If the I-90 4th Ave exit is congested, use alternate routes such as I-5 North and the James Street exit.
From SR 520, take I-5 South, then take either the James Street, 4th Avenue, or Airport Way exits to place you in proximity to the stadium.
