Why do you want to become Miss Supercross?
Because it's my life. I'm at almost every race anyway and I ride as well. I know the sport, riders, sponsors, and teams. I want to stay involved in the industry as long as possible. I think that Miss SX should represent the sport by not only looks but knowledge of the industry. And I know that I have what it takes.
Any past MX/SX Involvement?
I started as a 30 sec. board girl a year ago. I have since been the Racer X girl and Thor girl in their catalogues. I have worked for Parts Unlimited, Monster Energy, Progressive and Leo Vince. I also am on the SX opening video and on the SX commercials on Speed. I wrote a weekend race recap of the Outdoor Nationals for Bookoo Energy in ‘06.
What else do you do?
What other types of things are you interested in? I do everything. I want to live life to the fullest. Right now I host a Wrestling show on Spike TV. I also model for many different companies. Mostly I love being with the people that are in my life right now. I'm surrounded by great friends that feel like family. I'm a single mom to a wonderful 4 year old little boy who also rides dirtbikes. And I have a great boyfriend (AMA Superbike Champion Ben Spies)....I had to brag! When I'm not at a race or motorcycle convention I like to travel and go to somewhere I've never been and do something I have never done before.
Why should fans choose you to be Miss SX 2008?
Because I know all there is to know about Supercross. I love the sport and the people in it. I can talk about it intelligently and I have the experience it takes to be the next Miss SX.
Favorite Rider: Ryan Villapoto. I think he's got the drive and dedication to just keep improving and he's already a great rider. I love to watch the 250 class the most. It's a more competitive class and makes for a more entertaining race.
For the 450 riders I would say Davi Millsaps or Kevin Windham. Reed, Carmichael, and Stewart are great riders but it's always nice to see someone else up there every once and a while.
And for old school I would have to say Bob Hannah. I think he had a great riding style and one of the nicest people I have met.
Favorite SX city: Houston has the best track but I love going to Vegas for U.S. Open and the final race too!
