Hobbies: I love extreme sports and anything having to do with being outside....beach volleyball, riding horses, riding dirt bikes, surfing, snowboarding, golfing, swimming, basketball, sky diving, bungee jumping, hiking. If it sounds exciting I would most likely give it a shot!
Why do you want to become Miss Supercross?
The thrill of never knowing the outcome of a race has always inspired my extreme interest in the supercross industry. Growing up around family and friends who have always had a desire for extreme sports has made me want to know more and be a participant myself in this activity. Going to the desert and having that personal experience of being able to jump on a hot pink 70 while taking out all of my aggression on the wide open dirt has been such a rush. While getting this opportunity to become Miss Supercross I would love to prove to everyone why supercross has such a huge fan base and why so many people thrive and would do anything to experience what the riders get to everyday of their lives. Since this sport is so competitive the fans are likely to get so involved with their favorite rider. It always is a huge scene that no one would want to miss. Being Miss Supercross would be a huge accomplishment to me because sharing the glory with the riders and fans would mean so much. Along with my Miss Teen California title I would love to add this one on to my accomplishments and prove to myself that I can too be involved in such an amazing, fast speed and world wide loved sport.
Any past MX/SX Involvement?
While not having any professional experience in MX/SX competitions, I have had the opportunity to attend many different events where I have learned to love this sport. Recently I've been working with Jen Rose and her modeling agency “ In N.E. Event Modeling Agency" where we have been working mostly for the motocross industry.
What else do you do?
What other types of things are you interested in? As of right now I have been busy promoting a new energy drink that just launched called OC Energy. OC Energy is a healthy energy drink that helps promote TAPS (tragedy assistance program for survivors). This project contains about 5 girls called OC Angels. Sort of a spin-off of Charlie’s Angels: working our butts off and trying to save the world. So I have been very busy and interested in being a role model for health living of all ages. Charity work is also very important to me; visiting VA hospitals, homeless shelters, charity walks for many types of cancers... I also enjoy throwing launch parties to introduce OC Energy into new bars/ night clubs.
Why should fans choose you to be Miss SX 2008?
The fans should choose me to become Miss Supercross 2008 because I am very outgoing and am full of lots of energy. My motto in life is "is go big or go home" and what’s bigger than a sold out stadium of 60,000 screaming fans. While representing a sold out stadium I can promise that I will do my best to make sure everyone’s having a good time that they get what they came for.
Favorite Rider:
My favorite rider would have to be Ricky Carmichael!!! I have so much respect for him and his hard work ethic! He has had two perfect undefeated records in 2002 and 2004. He is a role model for many young kids who also have that dream of becoming the next big thing, even if their dream starts at the age of three years old or 40. I believe he gives people the confidence that they can achieve anything they put their heart into.
Favorite SX city:
Vegas!!!! You can not go wrong with Vegas!!! When supercross hits sin city, it is probably one of the best weekends out of the year! I would love to travel to other supercross events all across the country and experience different cities!
