Why do you want to become Miss Supercross?
I would like to become Miss Supercross because I remember watching the trophy girls in awe at the events my father used to take me to. I was hooked when at age 5 they pulled me onto the podium at our local demo derby to hand out the trophy, ha ha! Really though I have always preferred to be where the action is over typical modeling, I dont consider myself as a model. Just a girl who likes to hang with the boys. I also feel that it is important for women in the limelight to portray a healthy, respectable yet fun role model for the younger generation! Basically I can make anything fun and with such a wild crowd that MX draws in there is no limit to the excitement, I just love to be a part of it.

Any past MX/SX Involvement?
I have always grown up around motorcycles, played with the boys in the mud but I wouldn’t jump on a bike and take off by myself just yet, ha ha! Some guy friends have attempted to teach me....I am a fast learner with little fear but I need someone with more patience to teach me. I'm one hell of a cheerleader and medic though! But I've always followed MX, SX, and FMX. I have done tons of MX events as a promo girl, I feel so at home with the MX crowd, they are all really down to earth, happy people.

What else do you do? What other types of things are you interested in?
Well as mentioned before I am heavily involved with Pit Bulls, my dog is a true advocate for the breed and I continuously strive to promote responsible ownership, with all breeds really but especially this breed that is so misunderstood.

I have been blessed with a brother 13 years younger then myself, I like to hang with him, he keeps me young and teaches me a lot that adults tend to forget as they get older! My day job is managing a great coastal hotel but all my free time goes to hanging at the track. One of my favorite things is waving the flag at the beginning of a race, I used to think it was so glamorous until my first time when all the dirt was thrown on my face from the starting cars, ha ha oh man you should have saw my face it was hilarious but it is the best rush for me!

Why should fans choose you to be Miss SX 2008?
I hope they would choose me because they see my ability to keep things light, fun, and exciting. Sure I'm a girl who cleans up pretty well but my heart lies with blood, sweart and, tears. Yes it’s a cliché but a overlooked one that is the foundation for everything great. No matter what my job is at the track I always make a point to connect with the spectators and fans, without them none of this would be possible, the teams, riders, vendors, and even the pretty girls at the podium! My favorite thing is to look down and see a little girl looking at me the way I used to look at the umbrella girls, that warms my heart SO MUCH!

I really apply myself to everything I do, I never want to feel that I could have tried harder, I don’t believe in being lazy and I hope to make the MX crowd proud!

Favorite Rider:
My favorite rider would have to be James Stewart, not only does he kick ass but he has such awesome respect for his other riders, he hardly gets discouraged hanging behind RC, and is a provides a excellent example of discipline. I look forward to this season; his winning streak has been amazing!

Favorite SX city:
Well I'd definitely have to say San Francisco because it is closest to my hometown, it offers a beautiful view from the park, and since NorCal isn’t as big with MX scene as SoCal it gives the kids something a little different to see and maybe even strive for.
