Anaheim 3...where to begin...It wasn't what I was looking for. I had high hopes going in and was ready to put in a good race. I felt good in practice, ending up 12th after two sessions. My bike was working really well with my new forks that Vince at BTOsports.com bought me.
Everything was looking up going into the night's racing.
I got another bad start in my heat and was just trying to move up as fast as possible. I had a little bike problem and couldn't make up the difference to qualify out of the heat. I was pretty frustrated to be headed to the LCQ again. I got a 7th place start in it and just tried to get to the front in a hurry. I was kinda all over the place, over riding the slippery conditions. I got into 3rd with a lap and a half to go and just gave it all I had. I caught my teammate Bryan Johnson with a half lap to go and tried to make a move. I got next to him and thought I had him but he pushed me a little wide and held on to the last transfer spot. I got the Racer X gas card, not what I was looking for but I do want to thank Racer X for that. I was really depressed after the race thinking about the last few weekends. I'm doing all the things I need to do during the week to succeed so its gotta come around. Hopefully Houston will be my turning point!
