“My best racing memory would have to be the pass that James put on RC and DV in one corner, where he went from 3rd to 1st instantly on the second night. That was good stuff.”

“I think practice was my best memory because I raced like an idiot!”

“My best memory was when I was starring down Team MDK Xyience ultimate fighter Chuck Liddell. He asked for a sandwich and I said “Listen Chuck were at a motocross race not in the cage, get yourself a sandwich. In reality the guy looked at me and I got really nervous and told the MDK guys to hurry up and get that sandwich made!”

“For me the coolest part of the Open was getting to see some of the amateur riders step up into the big show! I still remember Hackley, LeMoine, and Cunningham sitting in my hot tub making their hair freeze into Mohawks 4 or 5 years ago, and now they are big time SX racers.”

“I really enjoyed watching DV’s goon lap, it was priceless. Also, I enjoyed watching Matt LeMoine’s first supercross for the Star Racing team, the kid is the real deal.”

“The coolest thing for me was that Spy Optics was a major sponsor of the U.S. Open. Also, when K-Dub through down the “Superpole” on Saturday night.”

“It would have to be the “Superpole” competition. In order to win that event you had to lay down a perfect lap, no mistakes! Plus you made $10,000.”

“I thought all the racing was good both nights but the thing that stands out was DV’s goon ride. That had to be the funniest thing that I have seen in awhile and all the fans loved it! Even RC and James showed their appreciation.”
